AITA for fighting my bf about him not introducing me to his big friend group?

Question

I’ve (F24) known my bf (M26) for almost 3 years. I’ve met his family and his “boys” which is his 4 closest/best friends. He has a big friend group from college that includes those 4 closest/best friends and I’ve never met the other 10+ people (the group is mixed with boys/girls). It never really bothered me until they invited him to go celebrate NYE. I asked if I can come? And he said he’s not ready to introduce me to them yet. That’s all he can say to me - “I’m not ready.” When I ask why, he says the same thing. 
My friends and I have brainstormed a few reasons. But none of them really makes any sense. He’s told me that no, he never dated nor hook up with his friends and don’t want me to meet them, or his friend group is judgy or just assholes but why would he be friends with these people if they are? I just can’t imagine him like that. 
We had a huge fight about this and I am even considering this as a dealbreaker. AITA?

I can tell you from experience that when a boyfriend won't introduce you to his extended friend group, there is an issue. It's a big red flag. I would be reconsidering the entire relationship to be honest. 
My opinion is that this group of friends probably drinks and/or does drugs, and he's going to do that with them. Either that, or he simply does not want to have to worry about having to cater to you in anyway. For instance, having to leave if you're not having fun. Or having to leave on your timeline, instead of staying all night. Etc. That's just what comes to mind for me. ￼

My ex wouldnt introduce me to certain friends he would go party with, turned out it's because they used cocaine when they partied and he didnt want me to know. Especially if you guys are serious, he shouldnt want to spend NYE without you or keep you from his friends. That tells me hes either not serious about you at this point in time, or hes hiding something eg shady behavior, hes cheated and doesnt want the others to slip, he hooked up with one of them...something.

Well how long have you been dating? You say you’ve known him for 3 years but how long have you been together? If it’s a newer relationship maybe he just doesn’t want to bring someone new into the group until he feels a little more secure in the relationship? Though if you’ve been together 3 years I wouldn’t put up with that

Dump him.. he's putting his friends first before u.. and excluding u socially.. if it was a new relationship.. okay fine but it isn't.

Definitely suspicious. I would look at it like “they know something that you don’t know” trying to keep you away incase something comes up or slips out. After all these years…I wouldn’t be happy either.
