Couldn't check dilation??

At my appointment today I was told that she couldn't tell how dilated I am bc of how low the baby is sitting??? I'm very confused ab that. Has anyone else had this happen?

My sister has a tilted uterus and her cervix also would tuck behind her babies when they were low which would make cervical checks difficult/painful. It also runs the risk of bursting the amniotic sack. Maybe that could be the case for you.

Sounds like she was scared to check. How far along are you? They try not to check before 36-37 weeks.
