Puking after my birth control pill

so I take my birth control pill at 12 noon .

Yesterday I took my pill as usual and then I had sex last night. Well this morning I woke up and I cannot remember if I got sick or not. I don’t think I did . But if I got sick this morning would my pill still be active ? Am i protected from last night ? I’m freaking out
