Hi all. I need some help. My 2 year old has suddenly broken out into hives. Over the last 2 weeks I’ve tried various things to help him. Changing soap, lotions, detergent, bedding, completely rewashed all his clothes, and so on. They started as a small patch on his thigh and now has spread to: both legs, both arms, his abdomen, chest

And I’ve now seen, it’s spread to his back and is beginning on his face.

The doctor said it was hives, but didn’t bother to examine him or run any kind of test, seeing as there are a multitude of things that can cause hives. Like viral infections, for instance. But as above stated, they won’t even examine him. Just told me to give him Benadryl, which, by the way, hasn’t helped at all.

Do any of you know what I could do to help him? I feel as though I’ve exhausted all of my resources and I don’t know where to begin next.
