Is it ok to stop your birth control if you aren't in a committed relationship?

I was thinking about stopping my birth control this year because of the negative reactions of guys but I hook up with multiple people. If I were to stop my birth control should I tell them to pull out and use condoms? Will I be ok if I do this instead of being on birth control? Some guys hasn't reacted well when I told them I am on birth control.

Why would you stop birth control because of what a MAN thinks? And why would they want you to stop it? Any guy with his head on straight would be thrilled that they didn’t have to be the one to be responsible for birth control and wearing condoms. I’d be questioning their intentions

I’d get if you said the negative effects on your body…but to say because some men have a negative reaction is insane.
Don’t sleep with men who don’t respect your choice to be on BC. Please.
If you stop BC, they absolutely have to wear a condom start to finish. No just slipping it in to feel for a second.

If a dude ghosts you over personal protection and medication choice count it as a blessing and find someone not...that. I've never heard anyone having that issue so I'd say it is a good way to weed out weirdos. But if you chose to stop (dont stop because of this reason...its dumb) I'd say condom (that you bring and don't trust them to have one/one in good shape) and pull out if it is a hook up. Condoms fail still and user error is a thing.

Girl, who the fuck cares if they have an issue? 
It’s your body that you need to protect. Want to help prevent pregnancy? Birth control and condoms. Want to help prevent STIs? Condoms and regular testing. 
No one else gets a say on how *YOU* protect your body. You should not be concerned that it bothers them that you’re on the pill.
