I was driving with my 14 year old and we were at a red light. We saw a car pull to the side, throw a cat out of the car and drive off. My son made me pull over because he wanted to try to get the cat and he did... I kind of want to just take it to the shelter. I didn't want her just out in the street in case she got hit by a car but idk if I want to keep a cat. She seems to be trying to find her owner and it makes me sad. My son wants this cat so bad and I just don't know.

Edit: I think I will let him have a trial run to see if he can be responsible and take care of her. I've never owned any pet besides goldfish which is why I'm nervous but I'll give my son a chance
