Gestational diabetes

Anyone who has any insight on this could you please help. I have had issues with my blood sugars for a while and have been using the dexcom to monitor them for the last week today I felt like they were high but dexcom was saying I was in the 160s I decided to check them and they were a lot higher. What would cause this big of a difference in the two?
