Wedding for Introverts?

I've been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years now and we know we want to get married, but I have bad social anxiety. I do not want to stand up in front of all our family. I was wondering if any of y'all have done like a private ceremony then a public reception? I like the idea of the fun party with family and friends, but not the all eyes on me as I walk down the aisle

Do whatever you want. I got married with immediate family present only and went out to dinner after. We had a Jack and Jill before hand.

Do what makes you comfortable. I’m also a very anxious person. We plan on getting married at the courthouse (just the 2 of us and a court appointed witness). I’ll tell my family and friends about 2 weeks before hand (cuz that’s as far out as you can book the courthouse) and tell them we’re going to dinner after. They all live out of state, so if they come to dinner, great. If not, great
