Gender at 11.5 weeks scan?

I’m having an ultrasound next week at 11.5 weeks pregnant. Will they be able to see the gender at this appointment or should I expect to wait until the genetic test comes back to find out? (I’m drawing my blood for the genetic test that day as well.)

You’ll have to wait for your bloodwork

It's very rare it will be accurate because at that stage they're still developing genitalia. That's why they usually wait until 15 weeks at the earliest to tell you the gender and even then sometimes it's wrong. The blood work however is 99.9% accurate

You’ll have to wait. Genitalia isn’t formed enough until 12w and not visible until after 14w.
