I rent a house the owner lives in a separate part of the house and he asked since I live in his house rent from him that he wants to declare me on his taxes because I live under his roof.

I said no he got upset and said well on your taxes put you live somewhere else! Because I live here and I'm the head of household here and since you don't want to be on my taxes I am not going to write that you live here and because the taxes ask who lives here you will not be writing on your taxes that you live here.

I found out he went to the post office has said to them that I don't live there so I have no letters for proof of address he's been holding the mail at the Post office and throwing away my mail.

What can I do? How can I safely fix this mess I can't move out because of lease contract just wanted to fix the taxes how can I explain we can live together in the same house and file taxes separately the taxes just ask who lives there.
