TMI photo - close to giving up

Alison • Pregnant with baby #1. Due mid-November. We conceived after our first attempt of donor insemination.
I'm nearly 7 weeks postpartum and have been EBF since day one. However, the last week I've been hand expressing and giving the milk to DD in a bottle. It's not ideal but I'm in so much pain due to nipple damage so I'm trying to heal up to get  her back to the breast.
I've been to three lactation consultants and all say her latch is fine and can not see any case of tounge tie so I don't know why the damage is still so bad. The one nipple isn't bad but the other looks like someone used a square-bit screwdriver to take a huge chunk out. It's toe curling at latch on.
Any tips on how to heal? Other options I should be exploring? I want to keep BFing her but hand expressing is getting tedious and I feel like the bottle is a wedge in our BFing relationship.
