My boyfriend of 9 years doesn’t have any friends. He’s a full blown introvert and stays to himself. But in my experience every time he’s had a friend or someone he’s gotten close with he goes overboard with the friendship.

So my bf works the night shift (4p-12a) but most the time he gets off early around 10pm, his new buddy works with him and he gives him a lift to and from work everyday. But instead of coming home he stays over his buddies house (the latest has been 2:30am) unless I call him and he will argue talking about “just let me be happy” “you should be happy for me because I have a friend” “we don’t get to hang out ever because you work during the day so the only time we can hang is after work” usually he hangs with this buddy 3-4 hours a night if he gets off at 10pm. So he stays over this dudes house from 11pm-2am most nights

I honestly don’t want my man out all hours of the night, he use to do this with ALL his previous friendships and now that I’m older I’m not with it. And he keeps saying I “don’t understand him” and I’m saying well maybe he needs to be single cause I would rather my man be home before 12:00pm at night!!

(P.S We also have 2 kids and one on the way.)

Am I overreacting? Honestly.
