We have a 2 bedroom 1/2 bath townhouse with a 6 month old. It’s not bad to me, considering my baby has his own bedroom. It’s a nice safe neighborhood too. However I get snide comments from family/ friends sometimes that my son needs more room or I’m getting older and need to invest in a house. My husband just started working on his credit, mine is great and we plan on it eventually.. but the market right now would be hard on us now that I’m a SAHM until he goes to school. We’re not in any debt either. Is it

selfish of us to wait for a house? Is anyone else in an apartment?

I don’t see the big deal since I live near tons of families. But it seems I’m the only one who thinks this way lol.
