Hello, I was wondering if anyone has had urethra stricture (scarring) before? Iv been having UTI symptoms for around 6 months but Iv tried a lot of antibiotics and tests and so far nothing is showing up on the tests or fully getting rid of my symptoms . I have a urologist appointment in 2 weeks time. I’m aware of institial cystitis, however, my problems did originate as a UTI so I’m wondering if it’s become embedded, or iv been wondering if the UTI has caused scarring? As it was a bad one and I was peeing blood, so I must of had an injury somewhere ?? I’m not sure, but my current symptoms are I’m bloated and slight pain when I pee and pelvic pain afterward. My pee isn’t cloudy or smelly ( which are uti symptoms, which is what is puzzling me now and making me look for other things it could be). If you’ve had urethra scarring before what were your symptoms or if you’ve had a similar problem to me what helped?
