Any tips on how to slow down the baby and his need to feed like he hasn’t eaten in days. My nips will thank you.

Little man latches on great that’s not the issue, issue is the first minute or so the lil guy eats like someone is going to steal the milk from him and for about a minute he pulls really hard and fast.

I’ve tried nipple shields but I realized he does the same thing if I breast feed with or without the shields even when bottle feeding to give my nips a rest.

I even tried to wake him up earlier for feeds but it looks like it’s just a habit more than anything
