I’ll be 9 weeks on Thursday…I was supposed to have an ultrasound tomorrow at the OB, BUT I had to cancel it because my son’s school was cancelled tomorrow due to bad weather. My next appt at the OB is January 30 at 11.5 weeks. I really want to hear a heartbeat before then…I made an appt at a local ultrasound place that has been open for years and has outstanding reviews. It’s a 2D ultrasound (5-10 mins) that is basically just heartbeat and a few pics of baby. I went there for an ultrasound at 14 weeks with my now 5 year old son. They are licensed ultrasound techs. I know they probably won’t tell me much, but it’s basically for piece of mind. Anyone had one done this early someplace other than an OB’s office?
