Snorting normal?

I’m 8 weeks pregnant and I got a Pap smear at the doctors today. Is it normal to spot after Pap smear? How long does it last?

Every time I’ve gotten a pap smear, I spot afterwards so I’d say it’s normal. I get mine next week and I’ll be 10 weeks so it makes me nervous but I know it needs to be done.

Yes, anytime I’ve gotten cervical checks or Pap smears while pregnant I’ve always had cramping & some spotting a couple hours after wards. My doc says it’s completely normal, your cervix gets irritated so much easier during pregnancy

Your cervix was most likely just a little dry. But yes they usually do not recommend to touch the cervix not even with Pap smears because it can irritate the cervix and can cause cramping and spotting etc etc but you will be fine
