Possible pending miscarriage ?

Hi everyone

I’m feeling a little lost, I’ll start from the start..

So I went for my HCG results on 3rd Jan in which I would have been just over 5 weeks and my HCG was 3260 which made me 5-6 weeks pregnant, going by my app it was pretty accurate, although we weren’t trying so did not track ovulation but I usually pretty spot on every month, give or take a few days..

They said my HCG is in range and was normal, although it was a lot lower than what my son was when I was pregnant which was 13 months ago.

I’m the meantime I hadn’t been getting much symptoms, (not as much as my son, my hug was higher with him so I guess that’s probably why) I have been tired and going to the loo a lot, but tiredness can also my contributed to having a 13 month old 🤷‍♀️

I know I can’t compare pregnancies, but I felt it was a little odd

I went for an ultrasound on the 9th Jan, going by my last period.. (22nd Nov) I thought it would have put me at the 7wk mark.. and due to lack of symptoms I went in a little earlier (ideally you go in about 8wks) but I was worried.

The Tech said she could see a heartbeat (it was 123bpm) which she said was normal for how far along I was, which by the measurements I was 6wks + 4 days .. which was not as far along as I expected but was told that I could have ovulated a little later

The next day which was Jan 10th, I went to the toilet and saw some pinkish blood, I have had a MC before so I know that generally blood is not a good sign, although I understand that some women do get it in early pregnancy, I thought I’d wait and see but every time I went to the toilet a little bit of pinkish blood was on there. I rang the Dr and asked if I could get a blood test, so I got 2nd draw and it was 3413, I spoke with the nurse and said that was not a big jump from 3260.. she said not to worry as it went up and was within range but I said yes it might be but it’s not doubling and that’s a concern.

The next few days I’ve been wiping and the same amount of blood has been on the toilet paper.. today it has gone in my undies , not enough to fill a pad or not heavy

I’ve been having light period cramps, not enough to hurt or when there is blood but I know that’s also normal in early pregnancy and had it with my son.

I called the Dr as I asked for another blood draw.. she said not to worry as there was a heart beat, but the blood came after the ultrasound so it’s hard to stay positive

I’ll also add I am 42 years old so my chance of miscarriage is high (47%)

If I was miscarrying, I thought I would have gotten more heavy blood by now.. how long can it take?.. it’s been at least a few days now

Or is this by random chance one of those things where it can’t be explained

Just so confused right now what to think..
