Whenever I am upset about something with my bf, and I try to tell him about it , he always gets super defensive to where he turns it around on me and then is mad at me. And then I feel bad afterwards.

Like today, I tried to tell him about something that upsets me and I started to cry, he got super defensive and said that I’m making him feel like a bad bf. And I said that’s not what I’m saying.

So now he’s mad at me because I made him feel like a shitty bf ….

Is this gaslighting ???
