Due date changed! Any idea?

I am pregnant with my first baby through <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> so dates are exact, I had multiple scans confirming my due date on 13th July. However they had 4d scan for my baby to check neck measurements and they have changed my due date to July 8th.

Is that normal ?

My OB said the best due date estimate is with your 12 week scan. Anything before that the baby is too small to measure accurately, and anything after the baby is big so the measurement is off. My due dates were 30/7 28/7, 26/7 and now with my 12 week scan 23/7.

If it’s IVF then just go by the clinics. Theirs will be the most accurate.

It is just an eatimated date based on size. You can be exactly on time, earlier or past your due date. All these variables are normal

There’s a crazy stat - something like ‘75% of women do not birth on their due date’ and since then I’ve seen the due date as an effort to assess size over anything else.
