Nursery Rocker

Question

First time mom here due in May! What type of rockers did you have in your nursery? I’m debating between one of the glider chairs with the foot rest VS just a regular lazy boy type recliner. Just want to make sure I have something comfy for me and baby during those late night feedings!

Definitely get the rocker/recliner. Those gliders are fine for putting to bed or naps but when you have a long night they’re not comfortable. I have both. Just bought another rocker/recliner for my 2nd coming in April.

We have a glider with a foot rest. We didn't use it until he was about 6 months when we started doing naps in their room. But now that he's 14 months we use it multiple times a day

I just got a nice armchair that was comfy, looked good, and can be used in the lounge once its no longer needed in babies bedroom. I would've liked a matching footstool as well

We used a glider with a footrest (Merced glider from PBK) because our nursery is small, but if you have plenty of space then a regular recliner would work too.

I wish I had gotten a rocker recliner. So much more practical for when you get pinned down and stuck in the chair for an extended amount of time.
