My daughter is a good student and has always gotten along with all her teachers, male or female. She has told me one of her teachers makes her extremely uncomfortable. She's 16 and he keeps commenting on how pretty she is. She told me she was fine at first but then it became excessive and the creepiest thing that happened was right before winter break I sent her to school with pictures of her in a sweater. She was gonna go by my dad's house to give some to family and she lost them and her teacher found them. He gave them to her after class and asked her if he could keep one. It made her really uncomfortable so I went to speak to him after winter break and he said he wasn't trying to be creepy and when I asked what his intentions were he said "Would we be here right now if I was a woma" I told him "If you were a woman and asked to keep a picture of my underage daughter of whom you are not close to, yes we would be here." He told me he had work to do and asked me to leave. I spoke to the principal, she spoke to him and he apologized but my daughter is uncomfortable in her class and wants to switch out of his class. It's an honors class and the only other class she can take to get the English credit she needs is well below her level. Her dad said if it makes her comfortable and gets her an easy A then let her. She's just so smart and has always excelled in honors classes so it upsets me she has to give up an honors class for this one teacher.
