What is going on?
I was diagnosed with PCOS (insulin resistance) in November after I was having issues TTC & also dealing with abnormal bleeding/no ovulation. My cycles have never been super timely. My dr put me on Metformin, Letrozole & provera (2 weeks after period due).
My last cycle ended November 30 & I THOUGHT I ovulated on December 7/8. I had a peak opk (CB advanced) on the 7th then got another peak on the 19th. We bd and tested every morning for pregnancy. Well, still negative.
It’s now January & AF is nowhere to be found so I started my provera. Finished it on Jan 11! Still no period BUT today I wiped & had some stringy ewcm. I’ve taken opks but I’m beginning to wonder if I’m one of those PCOS cysters that they don’t work on 🥲
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Or have some insight/tips? I’m at a loss & don’t know what to do from here.
My dr wants to push for a birth control to straighten out hormones if this next cycle fails. But we can’t even get this next cycle started! 🥲
