So my husband and I bought beautiful wedding bands for us for our upcoming wedding in May. We are getting married May 11th, but my ring isn’t suppose to be delivered until May 8th. It makes me nervous it’s so close to the wedding. If shipping takes a while or is delayed it might not show up until after the wedding. My mom offered a solution. For her wedding band, my mom has two bands that go on either side of her engagement ring. She offered to let me borrow one of them just for the ceremony, and it would be my something old. We thought it would be cute to have something of hers to honor her also and to see the pictures and see her ring in them too. So ladies, is this like weird for a wedding? Or bad luck? Is this something we shouldn’t do?
