10 yrs ago, i had an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured. This is the first time that I missed a period since then so i took a test 4 days after i missed my period and it was a positive. Start of my last period was 12/13. OB suggested to wait until 6 weeks to confirm if it’s another ectopic pregnancy but I advocated for myself and said i want to have the transvaginal on my 5th week. My question is, can transvaginal spot the baby as early as 5 weeks? Or should i just listen to the dr and wait another week?
