Weight gain breastfeeding!!???

Question

Hello all!
My first baby, I pumped but mostly supplemented with formula and went right back to my weight before pregnancy.
With this baby I’m EBF and I have gained 30 lbs. what do I do???? Is this normal???? I’m not eating great but I def eat more bc of hunger and I wonder if the hormones are making me gain weight?

This happened to me too! For both my babies I EBF and was just SO HUNGRY ALL THE TIME! I have no solutions since I currently weigh more than I ever have while still breastfeeding my daughter, but know it just comes down to changing habits to eat healthier and stay active. We shouldn't cut down on total calories because we need it, but I certainly can make an effort to go to the gym and choose salads over burgers.
