Stopping birth control

Hi everyone! I’m new to being off birth control and trying to understand a few things. I have been taking a birth control pill for 5+ straight years. This is the first time that I have ever stopped taking it. My periods were clockwork while taking birth control. With that said, I have not had a period since being off my birth control which is about 6 weeks now. Also, me and my husband are trying to have a baby. So, I’m curious when I should start getting periods again. I’ve experienced cramps and signs that my period should be starting but it never has. Since I haven’t had a period yet, it makes it more difficult to know when the best timeframe would be for trying to conceive. Thanks in advance for all the help and advice!
