icsi experience ?

Hello ,
Starting my itci first cycle next month due to failed pregnancy rates due to male sperm factor . How was everyone’s experience and is it very painful and difficult ? 
I am really nervous and need some stories and personal experience about how painful it was and any recommendations to make the experience smoother . Thanks in advance and pls keep me on your prayers !

My egg retrieval was in october and id have to say that was the worst part of the whole ivf journey. I felt so sick and was on so much pain afterwards. But we got 23 eggs, 18 were mature and they successfully fertilized 10 with icsi. We ended up with 10 embryos. We had 3 pgt normal embryos (2 boys and 1 girl), 1 high mosaic, 1 low mosaic, 2 that were not compatible with life and 3 that were untested or inconclusive. We did a frozen transfer in november and it worked on the first try! I am now 12 weeks pregnant with our baby boy (: If you have any questions, feel free to ask away! Our diagnosis was mild male factor, past endometriosis but ultimately unexplained as our doctor said  neither of those were bad enough to keep us from concieving.
