How to deal with pro lifers?

A lot of pro lifers make comments on a woman’s abortion calling her selfish. What can I do if they make you feel guilty about making the choice that was right at the time? Is abortion wrong if the baby’s dad wanted the baby and the woman felt like getting the abortion because she wasn’t ready? Why do they make comments calling her a narcissist and psychotic for doing that? Is it really wrong to chose an abortion because she wasn’t ready to parent, not living on their own because they could not afford it and not ready to move out on her own and wanted more freedom to do stuff in her life? Does that make her selfish? Do you think she should have chosen responsibility and raise the baby even if she did not have money to raise the baby so she wouldn’t have to deal with violent pro lifers? Why are some pro lifers violent to those who chose abortion for this reason?

I have no patience for these pro lifers. I mean I can respect that for them it is wrong but that doesn’t mean it is wrong for everyone.

Until pro-lifers are also pro-maternal health care, federally mandated paid maternity leave, and subsidized daycare, i dont have to pretend that their stance has anything to do with protecting children.

To answer your question, no, a woman is not psychotic or narcissistic for having an abortion. Yes, I do feel sorry for the men who want the baby, but at the end of the day it is still the woman’s choice.

I’m pro choice and have unfortunately had an abortion two years ago when I was 17 and honestly all you can do is ignore them. I had to ignore them the day I went to get the abortion so I think we can ignore them on the internet. Nothing you do will change their opinion and their opinion is usually based on religious beliefs and not understanding/being uneducated or willfully ignorant about biological facts. so their opinion is irrelevant. 
They don’t actually care about babies or they would do something to help all the kids without food or homes. They’d donate to charities or adopt the kids they didn’t allow to be aborted. They won’t do any of that though because they simply just get enjoyment out of shaming women

So you need to look at them and go, “sooo, you going to take care of my child??,” “are you going to adopt??,” If they try the Christian card, I bring up the time God killed all the first born babies in Egypt. It’s about fucking control. It’s not about helping the baby neither. Most babies end up in foster care, abused, taken advantage of, and if they’re lucky, adopt. Then there are the mothers that suffer from physical issues, rape, etc. which can cause a mother to go mad. Child abuse is number one done by females. What if the mother was put into a situation where she had to keep the baby and hate it, detach from it, because they didn’t want the thing in the first place due to issues with rape, psychotic issues, etc. THEN, you have the ones who end up killing themselves because the thought of being pregnant bothers them that much. Government doesn’t give a fuck about human life. They give a fuck about the numbers going up of human being so they have more people to control. It’s just a number in the fucking system. If it was about mothers and babies, there would be more incentives for mothers, such as paid time maturity leave, longer maturity leave, more choices into helping raise the baby, etc. but there isn’t! So the only way they make the numbers go up in the fucked economy because that’s another reason why women don’t wanna have babies, they ban abortions in most states and make it so hard for you to even have access to one. I wish people understood that banning abortions doesn’t stop abortions, it gets ride of safe abortions. If you need anybody to talk too, I’m here.

I hate when people force their own thoughts and opinions on others. I personally would never have an abortion but one of my very close friends did and i was there for her the entire time. Because i love her and supported her decision even if i didnt agree with it. If you were in a situation with a pro-life supporter making you uncomfortable you could 1: lie and say the baby wont survive out of the womb (just to shut them up and walk away basically). 2: you can bluntly tell them to mind their own business and keep walking. No amount of debating is going work with this topic especially with strangers. Please know that whatever choice you make is the right choice for you. My therapist tells me to remember: everything is exactly how it is meant to be. I hope that makes sense. Its not an excuse for bad things that happen. It just helps me when i think im fucking up. Saying it kind of like centers me and i feel peaceful. I went on a tangent kinda but dont let anyone put you down. In my opinion its not selfish to put your needs first when its a life changing situation.

Can we stop using the term pro-life? They are not pro-life because being pro-life is respecting that the woman has her life and maybe the lives of other people such as family and other children she is taking care of that she needs to protect. When a “pro-lifer” bombs a clinic they are not protecting life. These A-holes are NOT pro-life they are ANTI-ABORTION. Let’s start using the correct terms for who and what they are!

I’m pro-life- but I focus less on the mother, and more on the value of the child she is carrying. 
I truly believe that there is a fundamental sex education deficit in our country- young men and women are having sex without proper education, protection and precautions in place! Abortion isn’t the issue- it’s our society pushing “hook up culture” and our lack of education in regards to the consequences of sex. 
It’s just such a shame to me that the devaluation of sex has turned into the devaluation of the unborn. But it’s not just the babies that deserve better, it’s these men and women that are faced with the difficult choice.

I’m a pro life person but I would never speak I’ll of someone even with my religious views. It’s still your choice your life at the end of the day even if others don’t like it .
