Do people these days get pregnant by hookups or their boyfriend they have known for 2 months?

I see it a lot on tik tok. Is it common for this to happen and is it ok to get pregnant by a hookup?

I had only been with my now husband a month and got pregnant  but for us it worked. We’ve been together 10 years, we’re now married and have 3 kids.

I wouldn’t say it’s ideal? But it’s not not ok. If both parties are open and accepting of it, sure. You have to make do with the cards you’re dealt. But I’d say it very rarely works out in the favor of the mother, father or child. a child is a lifelong commitment that should be brought into a relationship that is also intended to be a lifelong commitment. Planning a pregnancy with someone you’ve only been hooking up or dating for 2 months just seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

To each their own, I would prefer not to get pregnant obviously by somebody, I hardly know, using protection, and birth control is probably recommended, but if that is you, then that is your life decision, but for me, preferably I’d rather know somebody a while. By having unprotected sex that is a chance you are risking.

I did lol my now husband and I were not even thinking about being together, only in a situationship for about 6 weeks when I found out I was pregnant. 
Luckily it worked out for us, we have 2 kids and we’re married with our own place. I do not, however, recommend this as it was far from ideal 😂
