Has anyone ever heard or said this?

I have a friend that i’ve always felt a little iffy about but I always thought it was bc I met her through my bf (now ex). I appreciate & love her. We’ve had our ups & downs like normal friends. She’s also someone I see as in need of help (single mom whose mom barely taught her how to person). But something she has said before is stuck in my mind. Out the blue she would say she doesn’t like hanging with the same people all the time. & it was always out the blue. We’ve been kinda distant too this past year.

Is she trying to tell me something without saying it? Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
