Update: my doctor said I was 2-2.5 cm dilated and 70% effaced before my sweep, afterwards I was a definite 3cm dilated.

According to this app, I’m 40 weeks today. According to my OBGYN, I’m only 39 weeks. So I have a sweep scheduled for this afternoon that I’m praying works!! I’ve been having on and off prodromal labor. Today I’ve been having this constant lower back pain and occasional shooting pains in my lower stomach. I’ve been in the yoga ball all morning and praying my water breaks with each contraction. I need this baby out!! His movements are so painful, I feel like my skin on my stomach is going to rip off with each contraction and movement. And I can barely walk because my hips keep giving out. I’m grateful for each pregnancy, but I do not enjoy being pregnant. Especially at this point! Baby #3, it’s time to come out and meet the world!
