Sometimes I kick myself for running to the hospital. I hate taking meds during pregnancy because I want to protect my baby. My first pregnancy I got a cerclage put in around 20 weeks and delivered a healthy baby girl at 40 weeks. This pregnancy the doctor advised against cerclage. My cervix is currently 2cm at 27 weeks. Around 25 weeks I was admitted into the hospital because I had cramping and was dialyses 2cm. They rushed to give me beta shot to develop the babies lungs but it only lasts for 7 days and I did not deliver. Now I am freaking out because I feel as though the steroid shot was unnecessary and I don’t know what harm it can do to my baby boy. Sooo frustrated and sad any similar stories any success stories with steroid shot ? Help !!
