Two month old vaccines
My two month old got her immunizations today. And she was OK at first, but now it is 9 PM and she’s been crying a lot since 7 PM. I’ve been able to hold her to sleep for two 30 minute naps and now she’s been asleep for about an hour on top of my chest with some crying in between. We took the bandage off of one leg and she cried bloody murder. I’m afraid to take the two bandages off of her other leg, but I think the bandages could be pulling at her skin or bothering her and that might be one reason why she’s crying? Did your children cry because of their bandages? Is there some type of topical pain relief cream that we can put on the injection sites? I forgot to ask the doctor. Our firstborn threw up anytime we tried to give her Tylenol. So we are a little bit iffy on giving our two month old Tylenol for leg pain and/or fever. I’d rather her keep her fluids down to help her heal then try to give her pain reliever that she might not swallow and then might make her throw up. But I hate when my babies are miserable. What helped with your baby immunization pain?
