I had my appointment yesterday. I will be 37 weeks Saturday with a due date of 2/17/24. They did the group b swab test and checked to see if I was dilated. To my surprise I am at 3cm!!!!! My partner just tested positive for Covid 2 days ago, this is our first child together, my first time giving birth, to say that I am freaking out is an understatement. Praying this little girl stays in until Sunday so he can be there for her birth. Also praying that I don’t end up testing positive Covid. I was planning on working up until the 9th. Thankfully my boss is amazing and told me to just stay home and focus on her potential arrival. Anyone have any advice or words of wisdom on how to handle all of this information at once? I have had some very very mild cramping the last couple of nights while in bed, doctor said that it could be Braxton Hicks or actual contractions, I haven’t had any spotting, I haven’t lost my mucus plug, my water definitely hasn’t broken. It’s just a lot of overwhelming information at once.
