Whatever brand sweats and hoodies they got at Walmart 🙌 I'm constantly covered in random food and spit up. We live/work on a ranch so I'm regularly muddy like 10 months out of the year (it rains a lot here.) I may throw on a $20 pair of jeans for appointments and performances (kiddo in ballet), but when I spend 99% of my time at home with 2 small kids and an infant...I ain't wasting my money on designer anything. These kids/cows/chickens/goats/horses don't care if I wear Louis Vuitton or not.

Yes and no, I have a healthy mix. Most of my designer/brandname stuff is second hand, heavily discounted or gifted to me. I’ll spend the money my heavy wear items though. I feel like it’s worth it in that regard. Like I’ll spend $100 on a pair of leggings because I know they’ll last me. I’ve had my lululemon leggings for like 2 years now and they’re worth it to me. the dupes aren’t worth it since I wear them almost everyday the $10 wear out with in a few months. They’re also just not made as well. They stretch out, they’re see through, they shrink, etc. I’d rather have $500 worth of good pairs that last vs $250 of shitty ones I’ll have to replace every 6 months. Same with my Birkenstocks. The real ones have lasted me probably 5 years or I could buy the fakes every year since they wear out. Ends up costing the same and buying a new pair of shoes every year just feels wasteful.

No. It's a massive waste of money. Do I have brand name things? Yes, but they were gifts from my mom's neighbour who has a monthly clothes budget more than 3x my husband's monthly income. When she decided she wasnt a whole new wardrobe she gives me things she thinks I'll fit/like. I rarely keep the items and usually donate to those in need or sell the items. My Nanny left all of her designer things to me and most of her jewlery and I've kept some of that. My father occasionally hands me something designer usually in the form of jewelery, but I wear the same necklace, anklet, earrings, and my wedding set that I've worn for YEARS. I'm a more minimal person and prefer to have a small capsule wardrobe. I also don't like to switch my jewlery unless there's a special occasion.

No. It's not worth it. Anything I've ever owned that was considered a luxury brand has not lived up to the hype.

Tiffany’s jewelry and coach or Michael Kors purses. Everything else I could not care less. Crocs shoes. Whatever is on sale or comfortable clothing wise.

If I happen to find something for a steal at Marshall's, sure. But I am not actively seeking out name brand stuff in a specialty shop. I just can't justify the prices. My husband and I might get some stuff if we go to an outlet, but even then i'm pretty stingy. He's willing to throw down for the nicer stuff, but my mom had a shopping problem growing up so I'm pretty frugal.

I consider myself a bougie ￼red neck. I have a few high end designer pieces but also get clothes regularly from Marshall’s, the rack, Ross etc. I can be wearing $10 seen 5 summers worth of wear flip flops with a $400 aviator nation sweat suit or a run of the mill inexpensive outfit jeans/tee combo with $1100 dollar Louboutin sneakers 🤷‍♀️ The designer items I like are limited to bags and sneakers mostly and I have to absolutely love them for a long time before I’ll splurge. I understand I don’t do it right and I’m not a fashionista by any means lol 😅 I also like to actually use/wear the items that I buy none of them sit in their dust bags or boxes I use them regularly. ￼Don’t get me wrong, I take good care of them but I get them because I actually want to use them. ￼
