Can the flu make you spot? Is it a period?

My period ended 1/15, the next day I tested positive for the flu. Well starting Wednesday of that week, so the day after I tested positive, I sometimes had the tiniest spot of blood when I wiped this lasted for a week and only happened once a day. It was so tiny idk if I should count as my period or not. What do you think?

So was I basically on my period for 2 weeks or can the flu make you spot (even if you didn’t have a period)
