does pineapple really induce labor?

i'm craving it so bad like i can fr sit and eat a lot of it but haven't bc i've heard the old wives tale that it induces labor through enzymes.... i'm 32 weeks? please help 😭

No. The best thing you can do to induce is sex. Sperm has the ability to make cervical change toward the end of pregnancy.

The enzyme is found mostly in the core. Which you don’t typically eat and you’d need to eat multiples in one sitting. so it shouldn’t be an issue, you’d likely destroy your mouth and wreck your stomach with all the acid before you induce labor lol. I’m 20 weeks and I’ve eaten probably 3 pineapples over the past 2 weeks alone. Eat the pineapple!

I did everything that “induces” labour since I was 37 weeks and I was a week late lol! He came two days before my schedule induction. Curb walking, ball bouncing, raspberry leaf tea, I ate pineapple all day everyday (also bc it’s what I was craving) 😂 Honestly, baby comes when they’re ready!
