Too soon?

Is testing 4 days before expected period too soon to test? I’m ok with getting a negative, I know it won’t be the most accurate yet, but is it possible to get a positive this early or is it still entirely too early?

Answer

There’s nothing wrong with testing early unless it causes emotional distress to get a negative. 
Personally, I’d rather know sooner than later so I can make adjustments to lifestyle (alcohol/caffeine consumption) ASAP. 
The other downside to testing early is if you get a positive then have a chemical before your expected period. It can cause distress.
