40 weeks today!! This is my first child and I am very nervous. I am going to the hospital on the 4th to have a cervical ripping procedure. They are going to place a cervical balloon and then monitor the baby for a little bit. Then I can go home but have to come back in 12 hours to have it removed. I feel like my body has failed in a way and I am even more nervous and worried about labor. My Dr doesn’t want to go past 42 weeks because it raises the chance of stillbirth.
