Scared !!!

I am 15w5d, and last night for the first time time ever! I wiped blood. It was brown, and light, wasn’t enough to soak a pad, but I decided to go to ER anyways. While waiting in triage, I passed a clot, smaller than a dime, and again, pretty dark blood. I didn’t know in the moment what it was, and for sure thought the worst. I continued to wait for what felt like hours, and the PA on call finally examined me, my cervix was closed, the babies heart rate was the same as always, and the baby was moving around without problems, even waving to the camera. The PA assured me woman just have blood between there cervix and placenta, and I felt okay with that, but the ER doctor called it a threatened miscarriage which did nothing but make me ill! Has anyone else had this experience? I just want to make it to full term and have some validation.
