Very different this time, right from the beginning.
I’m 37, will be 38 in February. I had my son at 19. I got my period for the full 5 days the first month, by the second month, and no period, and absolutely no symptoms I was confused. I ran to three stores to get test in my neighborhood 😂, the first two had the test locked up and my family frequented the stores. I could not believe the positive tests. I had no morning sickness, no cramping, no really bad cravings, nothing. I even wore the same clothes the whole time. He was perfectly healthy and way bigger than the doctors expected.
This time, I was trying. The positive test started on 11dpo, nausea started strong on 13dpo. Cramping has been there too. It’s still going, coming in strong waves then dying out. I’m happy it happened on the first try (wasn’t expecting that). I’m a bit nervous, feeling a bit over cautious, and hoping this just all works out well. I spent many years wanting more children, deciding I was going to do IUI/ICI myself before meeting my partner.
I’m telling myself that all this nausea and cramping at 4 weeks and 2 days just means this baby is coming in strong and hot. I’m fine with that 😅
