Some men are so annoying

I think it's so annoying when I'm at the library trying to study and men twice my age see an 18 year old girl with ear buds in on her laptop and think she wants to talk. This happens so much and before anyone says "Maybe it's innocent." These men never try to talk to other males or men their age. It's always me or some other girl around my age. I already think it's annoying when people try to talk to me when they can clearly see I have earbuds in but no sir. I don't want to talk to your ancient ass. I want to do my homework.

@Realist yep ancient. I'm 18. No I don't want a man in his 40's hitting on me and trying to get me to go home with him. If they don't wanna be called ancient then stop trying to pick up barely legals

@Mo I can't study at home. My parents have an extremely toxic relationship and I try to be away as often as possible because they are both yelling at each other and throwing things all the time but won't divorce.

Edit: Some of you on here clearly don't know what I'm talking about lol. I know when someone is being creepy with me. I feel like I shouldn't have to explain that if it's something important thats not what I'm talking about. A man in his 40's asking how old I am, what am I doing after this, do I have a boyfriend, do I want to come home with him, is being a creep. The fact that some of ya'll don't understand what I'm talking about just show's you're lucky you haven't gone through this. Sorry y'all are offended by the term ancient but no ancient ass 40 year old should be asking an 18 year old that he doesn't even know if she has a boyfriend. It's creepy.

@Meldy I think anyone in there 40's dating someone who is barely legal is weird. Most 18 year old girls don't want grown 40 year old men. I sure as hell don't.
