What do you do for work?

Y`Marrea • married to love of my life 💍 mommy of 2 boys🩵 and 1 girl🦄

Hey all! I've been a stay at home mom since 2019 while my husband works as a truck driver but with the rising price of everything I'm not able to stay home anymore. I'm trying to get back out there and find jobs that I can do and earn AT LEAST $20/hr but I'm not sure what jobs/careers are out there that I may not know about and be a good fit for. I have experience in fast food, retail, housekeeping, and customer service. I'm also working on a bachelor's degree currently. I don't currently have a degree and I feel like that's really limiting my earning potential. I would prefer not to get back into fast food or retail because it doesn't pay much in my area. What are you moms without degrees doing for work that pay well? I'm open to just about anything and I'd love to hear from you and see what I may be missing or not considering. Thanks for reading☺️

If you have housekeeping experience, I suggest starting your own little home cleaning service. You could charge more than $20/hour.

I would love to work from home and turn my one shed into an office. I’ve been building airplane alternators for the past 5 years

I've never even heard of that being a job before that sounds cool as hell!

I’m a bartender. Depends on location, but I average 50-90$ an hour with my tips. I’m in a small town bar in South Dakota. I work nights and my hubby works days

Pay depends entirely on location. School paraprofessionals are always needed in our area. As are substitute teachers.

You could work from home save on childcare! Especially if you experience in customer service you can work for online customer services. I am currently not at work had baby 6 months ago. Was due to go back to work last week but due to no childcare available and price of full time childcare it wouldn’t be worth it. I am however looking for working from home admin jobs and or social media admin website design.

I’m a physician admin for an OBGYN dept. I work from home and have 0 degree. Just a lot of prior experience. It used to pay well since it was a healthcare job but healthcare isn’t really the best career path nowadays.

I loved the idea of working from home! I just had our youngest on Christmas and we have a 4 year old daughter as well. Our two boys are in school so I wanted to work from home to avoid daycare costs for our two youngest but I've been unlucky in finding a remote job so far. I think other than education, I'm having a really hard time landing anything because I've been out of work so long so it makes me unappealing to employers.
