Help! Should I message him?

So there’s a boy from high school I want to get in touch with on social media since I’ve left high school, he is two years older than me and we don’t really mix in the same social or friendship groups but I’ve always liked him and he has never noticed me…

He probably wouldn’t recognise me if I messaged him also I don’t know what to say to him as I’m probably like a stranger to him if he doesn’t remember me. Just don’t know how to go about it…or if it’s a good idea.

Also I’m more of the academic type and he’s more of a sports guy.

Should I message him? Any advice would be great.
