Heartbroken

So I have a friend with benefits and I think Im in love with him. I talked to him about being my boyfriend and he said he wouldn’t be a good boyfriend because he says he likes to pursue women and he’s not always available. He also said he’d rather we see how the relationship turns out and not put pressure on it to become boyfriend and girlfriend right now. Personally, I dont think its ever going to turn out that he falls in love with me because he didnt yet and we saw each other 3/4 times already. I really do love him and think we would be so good together but I can’t make him fall in love with me. What should I do? I feel like I have so much unrequited love. And dating apps don’t produce a man of the same quality as him
