Is 8dpo too early for a positive?

Tested today and got a BFN stark white. 
I’ve had a back ache for a couple days now. I never get this before my period. Also occasional twinges but nothing crazy.

Yeah usually- most people get a positive between 9-11dpo

It can be yes. 8dpo is the earliest you can have a positive pregnancy test. Implantation happens between 6dpo and 12dpo and then you can have a positive pregnancy test between 8dpo and 15dpo.
