Can you ovulate if hcg is 44 after miscarriage??

I had my first miscarriage in August and second in December/ January. I had my d&c January 10. My doc has been tracking my hcg levels since and it is 44 today. I am having most of my symptoms of ovulation that I typically have and my LH test is positive. Is it possible to be ovulating or are my symptoms off and the LH test off due to my hcg still being 44?? Any thoughts, advice, or experiences similar? Really hoping to try again asap!

I don’t think so. With hcg still in your system your body thinks your pregnant still.

It took me having my period after my D&C for my hcg to go to zero. It’s so painful to still see positives on tests, but don’t lose hope. I’m 30 weeks with my rainbow baby.

You won’t ovulate until hcg is at 0

Unfortunately, you won't ovulate till your hcg is below 2! This is coming from personal experience. I had to track my hcg down to below 5 in order to get tested for recurrent miscarriages. I kept trying and even doing strips and never got pregnant. The minute, my hcg was below 2 which took me 4 months, I became pregnant. I did testing same month I got pregnant so REI didn't even do an evaluation on me.
