Flying while pregnant?!

Question

Who here has flown while pregnant? My husband has his basic training graduation. I will be about 6 months pregnant at the time. Any recommendations?! I’m a little nervous and scared so any positive experiences or recommendations for staying comfortable would be welcomed.

Get cleared by your OB. 
Drink lots of water. Wear compression socks. Bring snacks. 
If you aren’t high risk, everything should be fine.

Wear compression socks, bring lots of snacks and stay hydrated, and consider bringing something to put behind your back on the plane. I flew internationally very early in my pregnancy (around 13 weeks), and my back was so sore and uncomfortable. Other than that, everything went great!

I recently flew with my 11 month old and I was at 28 weeks pregnant as well. It wasn’t bad.  Just make sure you drink lots of water. ￼ I would also suggest once you get to your destination to elevate your feet as they can get kind of swollen from sitting so long.

I was given the green light to fly up to 36 weeks. I think my last flight was at 30.
