Clomid, have you used it? What results? I'm 40, hubby 41 TTC first

We've been trying for 13mths & had a miscarriage 7mths ago with no luck in falling pregnant again. I finally went to see a doctor about it this week. There a bunch of tests I need to get done over the next fe, then providing they come back ok, the doctor said we'd try Clomid for a couple of mths. I'm wondering who's tried it & how successful has it been?

We tried clomid at the beginning of January after no success with IUI and ICI alone. I responded really well, had 4 large follicles. Took my shot and was insemminated twice over the next two days. I was suppose to test tomorrow. I started spotting and bleeding last night. We go back on Friday to start over again. I'm 41, fiancé is 47. We started trying last year December, but took a break for about 4 months because I had a myomectomy and partial thyroidectomy.

I started 100mg of Clomid in August, cycle days 4-8. Tried for three months with no success. Had my first appointment with RE doctor in January, who will begin IUI next month if I don't conceive this month. Currently in my 2WW, 7DPO and am hoping for a BFP this month. Good luck!

I'm 49, husband 42. I have 2 children, he has 1. I have a history of unknown secondary infertility. It took me 4 years to get pregnant with my second child 17 years ago. I started taking clomid this year .  I did not take it for cycles in a row due to the effect on the lining, so I would do one cycle than take a break. In November we decided one more time. I took 100 mg clomid, plus acupuncture sessions for the first time, CQ10 daily, preseed & soft cups for the first time as well. Guess what, I got pregnant!!!! However I miscarried on Christmas, I was about 5+ weeks . But this was super encouraging. From what I read preseed is a miracle worker. Try the whole combination. I found /ordered it all on Amazon!

Hi Belinda!  Clomids worked for me. I got pregnant but miscarried.  That was 2 years ago.  This Thursday I'll be taking 2 pills of clomid a day for 5 days. Hope that'd help. It may help you to conceive.  Get an ovulation kit too. That was also how I got pregnant.  Good luck. I'll pray for you.

I'm in a similar situation ; age 41, husband 42. Just started clomid 50mg ( taking at night,  have escaped side effects luckily) and doing reflexology. 
I would be interested to hear any success stories too.
